this hotel was just tragic, I couldn’t sleep at all because of the extremely noisy restaurant above my room which felt like it was in my face, and the smell of smoke that lingered from who knows where was just delightful. I woudl ve been happy with a minor room upgrade, but I guess that’s too much to ask for?

Staying at Hotel Troya Balat felt like stepping into a postcard of history, with beautiful vintage details complementing modern comforts. The breakfast options were a delightful surprise. Although the lack of an elevator made lugging bags a bit challenging, the attentive staff and great location made up for it.

Historic and Artistic Rooms, Location by the Golden Horn, Unique Vintage Character
The noise from the restaurant and hallways disrupted sleep!!! The lack of an elevator is frustrating for luggage handling!!! Cleanliness standards seem inconsistent, affecting overall comfort!!!

Solo traveler in a quirky spot
The room had this great view of the vibrant life right outside my window. I loved that the breakfast was something else, you really felt like royalty with all the options laid out.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but you know, still acceptable for what you get.
